JOB TITLE: Electrical Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager with extensive experience in commercial construction and a proven track record of successful collaboration with electrical contractors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Lead and manage electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout phases, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.

· Collaborate with project stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans, specifications, and schedules.

· Conduct thorough project evaluations to identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

· Coordinate with electrical contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and manpower.

· Provide clear direction and guidance to project team members, including site supervisors, foremen, and electricians, to ensure project milestones are met.

· Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep the project on track.

· Conduct regular site visits to inspect workmanship, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

· Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and forecasts to senior management and clients as required.

· Manage project budgets, track expenses, and approve invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.

· Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to commercial electrical construction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager in commercial construction projects.

3. Proven experience working closely with electrical contractors and subcontractors.

4. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.

5. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.

7. Proficient in project management software and tools.

8. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, inspire, and mentor team members.

9. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.

10. Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CEM (Certified Energy Manager) are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
